Jasmine & her team have been servicing Melbourne’s Inner West since 2014. She had a well known and reputable dog walking business for 9.5 years and sold it early January 2023 - Loose Lead Pets.
“Westside Paws” was born in April 2022 with the vision of helping the local inner west community understand their pets better.
Westside Paws are the “Best in the West, force free puppy training school”.
We also have an online store with training gear, Australian air-dried treats which are all available for purchase here.
Another point of difference you will see is our love of pet aromatherapy.

“We did the puppy school with our new addition.
It was a terrific introduction to the basics of training - importantly Jasmine also highlighted the areas around rewarding poor behaviour which may feel like a game to the family but is reinforcing bad behaviour for the puppy - a really important concept.
After the sessions, our puppy could sit, stay, come and drop - some of the fundamentals.
We'll be reinforcing this over the Christmas break and will definitely be back to Westside Paws for some 1-1 advanced training once we've engrained the basics. Fantastic value for money - thanks Jasmine and Alex for your guidance (and patience!)”

“My partner and I did the zoom puppy school with our Kelpie Suzi and Jasmine was an absolute legend.
Thought it might not be as good because it was over zoom but it was amazing and we learnt heaps. Jasmine is very passionate about dogs and extremely knowledgeable.

“Joined Westside Paws puppy preschool with my 9 week old pup.
I have been to other puppy preschool classes with other organisations, and Jasmine is by far the most professional and organised trainer I have found. Her preschool sessions are well organised and have a clear focus for each session.
Jasmine provides example videos and homework exercises to practice between sessions and takes the time to explain why pups demonstrate certain behaviours and how to manage them.
