Welcome to our Group Training OptionsWe have a few group classes on offer. Please take a look at all the options below and select which one suits your pups needs.
If you have trained with us before and just need a little extra without the commitment, jump into a prep school.
Doggy Parkour – Level 1 (4 Week Course)Looking for a fun new way to build your dog's confidence while strengthening your bond? Doggy Parkour is the perfect place to start!
In this four-week course, you'll learn how to safely guide your dog over, under, through and onto everyday obstacles using positive reinforcement and choice-based training. It's not about speed or agility—it's about building confidence, body awareness, problem-solving skills and teamwork in a safe, supportive environment.
Suitable for dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes, this course introduces the foundations of International Dog Parkour (IDPA) Level 1. Throughout the program, you'll teach seven core parkour behaviours while developing your training skills, improving your dog's focus, and having plenty of fun along the way.
Whether you're looking for a new enrichment activity, a confidence-building outlet, or the opportunity to work towards an internationally recognised title, Doggy Parkour is a fantastic way to challenge your dog—both mentally and physically.

Prep School - For the WSP Graduate only!Has your puppy graduated from Puppy School but isn't quite ready to stop learning? Prep School is the perfect next step!
Exclusive to Westside Paws Puppy School graduates under 2 years of age, these fun 30-minute sessions are designed to keep your dog's training progressing while building confidence around other dogs in a controlled environment.
Each class focuses on real-life skills such as loose lead walking, recalls, stays, impulse control, engagement, confidence-building activities and tackling common adolescent challenges. Every session is a little different, giving you and your dog plenty of variety while continuing to strengthen your bond.
With just 4 dogs per class, you'll receive plenty of individual coaching and support, making it easy to work on the skills that matter most to you.
Prep School classes are offered at various times throughout the year, giving as many graduates as possible the opportunity to attend.
30-minute sessions • $26 per class • Maximum 5 dogs

We build, trust, love and respect between you and your dog as scientific evidence shows up-to-date training methods are NOT based around fear. We offer a professional dog training service - “helping you help your dog”.
Do you want to learn how to fit your dog into your life, not the other way around?
We endorse positive methods as extensive research has proven these techniques to be humane and highly effective.
We will cover all things puppy and up, what to expect, how to train, socialise etc.
Topics covered in no particular order:
Basics: Sit, Stay, Come, Down, Leave it, Heel
Leash Training: Walk on a loose leash without pulling, leash manners & polite greetings
Basic Manners: Jumping up, house manners; patience for meals and treats
Distraction Training: Focusing on you despite distractions
Engagement: Engaging with the owner
Anything else the class agrees to cover!
BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE NOTE:
Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations.
The date you select in the booking system is the date the course begins.
4 weeks back-to-back classes, no make up sessions.
This class is for dogs over 5 months of age or any puppies that have competed any of our puppy classes.
Dogs must not show signs of reactivity or aggression - if your dog displays this currently please book a private training session.
